Do you also want to discover the highlights of the NN Marathon Rotterdam, but would you rather walk? This edition you can again participate in The Marathon Rotterdam Walk. With this city walk you walk through Rotterdam the day before the NN Marathon Rotterdam, you’ll learn more about the marathon and also finish on the Coolsingel.
The entire route of 5, 10 or 15 km is indicated with arrows. Along the way you will walk past several musical acts, you can find out more about the highlights with the information signs and there are stamp posts.
Walk Against Cancer
Register through the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF), raise at least €500 in sponsorship money by March 11, 2026, and receive your free entry ticket and the Walk Against Cancer shirt from the KWF. Your participation directly contributes to a better life for people with or who have had cancer. With your own fundraising page, fundraising for the KWF is easier than you think!

On Saturday, April 11, we will once again walk en masse through Rotterdam during The Marathon Rotterdam Walk. With beautiful routes and a visit to various locations, it is a wonderful event for walking enthusiasts. We have completely mapped out the route for you, all you have to do is follow the signs. Along the way you will come across various stamp posts, where you can get a stamp for your stamp card.
Afterwards you will receive a beautiful memory from us to take home: a unique pin!

The Marathon Rotterdam Walk is an amazing walking festival every year. Along the way we provide entertainment with music and you get something to eat and drink. The walk is an important part of the Saturday. Will you join this year?
Walk against cancer

Highlights on the course
During The Marathon Rotterdam Walk you will discover the city in a unique way and pass iconic highlights of the city. We will soon announce the highlights of the route!
Praktcal info
The routes of 5, 10 and 15 km are indicated with yellow arrows, follow these arrows to stay on the route. During the walk you can enjoy many information signs, musical acts, a photo point and stamp posts with refreshments.
Tip: bring your own water bottle or water bottle to refill it at the water taps you encounter along the way. You will find these points at the Kubuswoningen, Maashaven Noordzijde, Noordereiland and at Hotel New York.
On Friday, April 10 (10:00 AM – 8:00 PM) and Saturday, April 11 (7:00 AM – 10:30 AM) you can pick up your walking map during the Marathon Sport Expo at the Postillion Convention Centre WTC Rotterdam (Beursplein 37, 3011 AA Rotterdam). We advise you to pick up your stamp card on Friday, because the Marathon Sport Expo is also open then. This free fair is the beating heart of the NN Marathon Rotterdam, where you can find great deals and feel the enthusiasm of the sports weekend. The stands are not open on Saturday morning before the walk.
- 07.45 – 09.00 hr – Start The Marathon Rotterdam Walk – 15 km
- 09.00 – 10.00 hr – Start The Marathon Rotterdam Walk – 10 km
- 10.00 – 10.30 hr – Start The Marathon Rotterdam Walk – 5 km
On the routes, in addition to various Rotterdam highlights, you will also pass stamp stations where you can get a stamp with your stamp card. You will also receive something to eat or drink at the stamp posts.
