If you register via the Dutch Cancer Society and raise 750 euros or more, you will be rewarded with a free bib number and the unique Run against cancer-shirt.

The Business Relay Marathon has been a particularly popular part of the NN Marathon Rotterdam for many years. Four colleagues run in relay form and cover the entire marathon distance together. A team consists of 4 people.

Business duo marathon

In the Business Duo Marathon section, two team members both run a half marathon (21.1 km). Both runners experience the fantastic atmosphere with hundreds of thousands of spectators on the Coolsingel. A team consists of two people.

Business Runners and guests will be welcomed in the exclusive Business Runs Lounge for this package on Sunday, April 13. The location is the beautifully renovated Hilton Hotel Rotterdam. The starting point to the change points for the Business Relay Marathon and Business Duo Marathon runners is approximately 200 meters.
Runners and guests are welcomed in the morning with coffee, tea and food. There are changing facilities available and the option to follow the race live via a large screen with your colleagues and/or relations.
Afterwards, the Business Runners are welcomed in the Business Runs Lounge where they can enjoy a nice drink with sandwiches. There is also the opportunity to take team photos on the podium after the finish. The awards ceremony for the Business Runs also takes place in the Business Runs Lounge.

Course NN Marathon Rotterdam
The NN Marathon Rotterdam is a real city marathon. As a participant in the Business Runs, you run the same course as the marathon runners. Each team member runs part of the course.
Immediately after the start you run over the Erasmus Bridge towards the south of Rotterdam. Along the course you will pass highlights such as Feijenoord Stadium and Ahoy before running over the Erasmus Bridge again. In the last kilometers you walk a loop around the Kralingse Plas and pass Rotterdam icons such as the Cube Houses and the Markthal. Eventually you finish like a hero on the Coolsingel, where spectators will give you the final push and you will be rewarded with lots of cheering, clapping and a medal. A memory for life.

A limited edition running shirt from Asics is being designed for the NN Marathon Rotterdam. As a participant in the Business Runs, this is included in your registration.
When registering, each participant can choose his or her size. If you are already registered, you can adjust the size via your personal dashboard. The link to your personal dashboard can be found in the confirmation email you received when you registered.

run against cancer
You can make a huge impact while running as a company. Run against cancer during the NN Marathon Rotterdam and raise money for groundbreaking cancer research. Create a team page and invite your colleagues. Use your (business) network to raise funds for your campaign.

Do you need help inviting team members? Follow these steps:
1. Go to your dashboard throughout the link in your confirmation mail.
2. Click on “manage my teammembers”.
3. Invite a teammember by typing the e-mailaddress and click on send. The participant will receive the invite per mail. It is also possible to manually register the team members.
4. Through the link the participant will fill in the registrationform. The participant don’t need to pay for this. They can choose extra options for example engrave a medal or BibBits, which the participant then pays for in the shopping cart.
5. The registration will appear in the dashboard of the groupleader as registrated. Zo kan de contactpersoon bijhouden hoeveel plaatsen er voltooid, uitgenodigd en openstaand zijn.
Where are the change points for the Business Runs located?
The change points of the Business Relay Marathon are located at the following locations:

The participants of the Business Relay Run run 9 km – 12 km – 8.5 km – 12.5 km respectively.
The exchange points are recognizable by the large signs in the exchange zone with the inscription “switch point” 1, 2 or 3. The exchange zones are located parallel to the marathon course. Before the exchange point, the runners are diverted from the course and after the exchange point they return to the marathon course. Adhere to the instructions of the organization’s employees at the exchange points. Agree in advance on a spot in the exchange zone for a quick transition.
RUNNER 1 – START SCHIEDAMSEDIJK
The start of the NN Marathon Rotterdam takes place on the Schiedamsedijk (near the Mainport hotel) at 9:00 am. The first runner is assigned to a start wave based on the team’s expected finishing time when registering. The starting number contains a number that corresponds to the wave in which the runner must start. The start is in multiple waves and these start waves follow each other in short succession. The starting wave areas are clearly indicated with large yellow signs.
RUNNERS 2 AND 3 DEPARTURE TO EXCHANGE POINTS – BY BUS
Runners 2 and 3 leave by bus from Pompenburg to the exchange point;
Runner 2: Departure buses to exchange point 1 (9 km) Pascalweg ± 08:15
Runner 3 (and runner 2 Business Duo Marathon): Departure buses to exchange point 2 (half marathon) Dorpsweg ± 08:50
The buses are stationed at the Pompenburg bus stop (near the yellow bridge) near Hofplein. These buses have stickers on the front of the bus. Volunteers of the organization will provide assistance. The buses are only intended for participants, not for supervisors. Access is granted upon presentation of the Business Run bib number.
PLEASE NOTE: The runners for the Business Duo Marathon also board the bus for exchange point 2. Make sure you get to the right bus on time! The buses clearly indicate which exchange point they depart from.
RUNNER 4 – EXCHANGE POINT 3 MARINIERSWEG
No buses will be used to the 3rd exchange point. This change point is within walking distance of the finish location.
SERVICE SCHEDULE BACK TO POMPENBURG
The buses that take participants back to the Pompenburg are located near exchange points 1 and 2.
Buses from interchange point 1 to Pompenburg ± 10:30 am
Buses from interchange point 2 to Pompenburg ± 11:50 am
The above departure time is subject to change. If all participants have reported to the buses or if a bus is full, the bus may leave earlier. The organization employee determines when the bus leaves. The bus back to Pompenburg is also only intended for participants.
