For over 40 years, the NN Marathon Rotterdam has been the most beautiful of the Netherlands. Tens of thousands of runners come from all over the world to experience the unique atmosphere in Rotterdam. Cheered on by thousands of enthusiastic supporters along the route and finishing on the Coolsingel.

Also this year, the NN Marathon Rotterdam supports the Dutch Cancer Society. The organization calls on every participant to contribute to a better life for people dealing with cancer. Run against cancer and for life during the NN Marathon Rotterdam!

Free bib number

If you register through the Dutch Cancer Society and raise at least 750 euros in sponsorship money before January 13, 2025, they will buy your start ticket and you will receive the unique Run against cancer T-shirt. With your own Run against cancer campaign page, raising funds is easier than you think!

Would you like to make a difference for the Dutch Cancer Society, but not raise a minimum of 750 euros in sponsorship money? Then arrange your own start ticket through the NN Marathon Rotterdam and create an campaign page. Will you raise 500 euro or more? Then you will receive the unique Run Against Cancer shirt. Ofcourse, KWF supports you in collecting donations, with tips, tricks and great examples of activists who came before you.

You can make a huge impact while running as a company. Run against cancer during the NN Marathon Rotterdam and raise money for groundbreaking cancer research. . Create a team page and invite your colleagues. Use your (business) network to raise funds for your campaign. All proceeds can be found per team member on your team page. There are two ways to participate.

Research

1 in 2 Dutch people will develop cancer at some point in their lives. Golazo, the organizer of the NN Marathon Rotterdam, is convinced that cancer can be prevented for many more people. More than a third of all cancer cases can be attributed to lifestyle and environmental factors, such as unhealthy eating and lack of exercise. Golazo sees enormous opportunities here and is happy to take on the challenge. That is why Golazo links their events to KWF. Together we raise money for scientific research. Research aimed at prevention, diagnosis and treatment for quality of life. But not only scientific research is funded. Part of the proceeds will also be used locally, such as supporting the Daniël den Hoed family home, the IPSO Centers for living with and after cancer and palliative care.
