The organization of the NN Marathon Rotterdam can hardly believe that the 17,000 available bib numbers for the marathon distance were sold out within 2.5 hours. The organisers have applied to the Municipality of Rotterdam for 30,000 marathon runners, and with some organisational changes, expect to distribute another substantial number of starting tickets in November.
In order to give a chance to obtain a bib number for the marathon distance to as many fanatic runners as possible, a waiting list has been introduced. Everyone can sign up to this list once for €5 until September 30, 2024. In November, the extra bib numbers will be assigned among all those registered on the waiting list. To give everyone a fair chance, the bib numbers will be assigned randomly.
When you get a bib number assigned, you will receive an invitation to complete your registration. And pay the remaining amount of €145,- for your race entry (current rate of €150,-).
If one of the extra bib numbers for the NN Marathon Rotterdam is not allocated while you are on the waiting list, we still offer you the opportunity to register for another great spring marathon in the Netherlands or Belgium. The waiting list offers you many opportunities for a spring marathon in the Netherlands or Belgium. Update 1/11: it is not possible to register for the waiting list anymore.
