The perfect warm-up during the marathon weekend is the City Run. With a distance of 4.2 km, this is a running event that is suitable for young and old. Everyone from 12 years old can participate. By participating, you too will experience the unique atmosphere during the weekend of the NN Marathon Rotterdam by finishing in the center of Rotterdam.
Run against cancer

Course City Run
The City Run Rotterdam starts on Coolsingel, near the WTC. From here, the route leads to Leuvehaven in the direction of the Erasmus Bridge and returns via the Maritime District to the bustling city centre. The finish line is in the city centre, at the same spot where the marathon runners finish a day later. A real marathon experience guaranteed!

A limited edition Asics running shirt will be designed for the 1/4 Marathon and the City Run. You could order this for €30 when you registered.
During your registration you can choose your prefered size. If you have already registered, you can adjust the size via your personal dashboard until March 1st. You will find the link to your personal dashboard in the confirmation email you received upon registration.

For the 45th NN Marathon Rotterdam, we collaborated with ASICS to design a running shirt that honors the history of #demooiste. The green shirt is inspired by Henk Visch’s Marathon Statue with its colorful panels and features a map of Rotterdam.
