At the NN Marathon Rotterdam you can participate with your school or association in the City Run Rotterdam (4.2 km). Will your school or association show its sportiest side again in 2025?

Run against cancer
Get your race entry through the NN Marathon Rotterdam and create a fundraising page with the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF). Raise €500 and you’ll receive a Run against cancer shirt. With tips and inspiring examples from the KWF, you’ll reach your target in no time. Every euro counts!

Will you participate?

NN Kids Runs

1 km & 2,5 KM

At the NN Kids Runs you run a distance of 1 km or 2.5 km together with other children on Saturday afternoon. The start and finish are in the centre of Rotterdam.

  • NN Kids Run 2,5 km: 7-15 years old
  • NN Kids Run 1 km: 6-10 years old
You will receive one coach number for free per 10 participants. This applies to both the 1 km and 2.5 km. With this number a supervisor can run with the children. Coaches do not receive a medal.

City Run

4,2 KM

The 4.2 km City Run is suitable for young and old. Anyone aged 12 and over can participate in this competition. You run past Rotterdam highlights in and around the center.

School campus

Op 11 april wordt het Schouwburgplein omgetoverd tot een scholendorp met marktkramen. Here you can gather as a school and leave your belongings. When you register you can indicate whether you want a free stall, this is possible from 50 participants.

The exits after the finish of the NN Kids runs are divided into 4 colors and shapes that correspond to the colors on the bib numbers and wristbands. The coaches of groups with more than 50 participants can then welcome their children in the designated area and walk back to the School Campus via a separate exit. This exit is indicated with colors and figures that correspond to the bib number and wristbands.

Purchase your bib number via NN Marathon Rotterdam and create a campaign page at KWF. With your own Run Against Cancer campaign page, fundraising is easier than you think. Every euro counts! Will you raise 500 euro or more? Then you will receive the unique Run Against Cancer shirt. Ofcourse, KWF supports you in collecting donations, with tips, tricks and great examples of activists who came before you.

The gro-up corner is located on the Coolsingel opposite the City Hall, where we organize various fun and surprising activities. All children, young people and parents are welcome!

Your child lost? Come to the gro-up corner
If you lose sight of each other on the Coolsingel, you can contact us. We provide care for lost child(ren) during the NN Kids Run.

Do you need help inviting team members? Follow these steps:

1. Go to your dashboard throughout the link in your confirmation mail.

2. Click on “manage my teammembers”.

3. Invite a teammember by typing the e-mailaddress and click on send. The participant will receive the invite per mail. It is also possible to manually register the team members.

4. Through the link the participant will fill in the registrationform. The participant don’t need to pay for this. They can choose extra options for example engrave a medal or BibBits, which the participant then pays for in the shopping cart.

5. The registration will appear in the dashboard of the groupleader as registrated. Zo kan de contactpersoon bijhouden hoeveel plaatsen er voltooid, uitgenodigd en openstaand zijn.

The start and finish of the NN Kids Runs is on the Coolsingel.

The NN Kids Runs 1 km starts in waves A to E and the NN Kids Runs 2.5 km in A and B. Use the entrance to the starting area (shown on the bib number) as indicated on the map. The letter corresponds to the signs at the start. Make sure you are in the starting area at least 15 minutes in advance.

After the finish, we ask you to continue walking to where you will receive your medal and drinks.
